T-Shirt Quilts
Let me turn that pile of T-shirts into a keepsake quilt. All you provide is the clean, uncut T-shirts and I do the rest.
T-shirt quilts are a perfect way to preserve those memories from school sports and activities, marathons or other special interests. T-shirts quilts make great graduation, birthday and Christmas gifts.
I use high quality 100% cotton fabric for the sashing, border and backing of your T-shirt quilt. Then I machine quilt it on my longarm quilting machine with a detailed design that will preserve your quilt for a lifetime. The T-shirts will be cut into 15' squares and finish out at 14 1/2". Other sizes are available upon request.
You may choose the color for your sashing, border and backing or have me choose the color I think will work best with your T-shirts. If you would like to use two colors, I can add an accent color of your choice. The quilting can be done in your choice of a meander or a swirl design.

If you wish to have a more random T-shirt quilt like the one pictured at the left, I will cut the T-shirts various sizes and fill in around them with an assortment of fabric pieces instead of using sashing. You can choose one color and I will use various shades of that color or you can choose several colors for even more variety. Please specify what colors you would like on your order form.
School Quilts
School quilts make great gifts for new graduates to take to college. Just send me a T-shirt from your school of choice and I will take it from there. If there is fabric available for your school, you may provide that to be used in the border of the quilt. Contact me and I will be able to tell you where to locate licensed college fabric. Due to licensing laws, you must provide school fabric and the T-shirt. The standard size for the quilt is 68 by 84 which will fit a twin bed and the price is $350. Other sizes are available upon request.

About Me
My love of quilting began at a very early age when my mother taught me to piece and hand quilt. I made my first quilt when I was nine years old. I often pretended to be sick so I could stay home from school and quilt with the ladies at church on bee days. Over the years, I made several scrappy quilts while raising my two children. In the late eighties, I discovered the wonders of rotary cutters and strip piecing and my life hasn't been the same since.
It didn't take long for me to find that my hand quilting hobby was not keeping up with my quilt piecing hobby. So I bought my first quilting machine in 1995 and soon began machine quilting for customers. I am now on my third quilting machine and quilting has become a full-time business. Quilts that I quilted have been published in Colorful Quilts, A Journey Through Fabric by Cynthia Regone as well as Simple Strategies for Block Swap Quilts by Lynn Roddy Brown. I was also recently featured in an article about quilting in Katy Magazine. And during the past year, quilts that I quilted for Bonnie Blue Quilts were featured in McCall's Quilting Magazine and on the cover of Quilt Mania, a French magazine published in several languages. I am a member of the West Houston Quilter's Guild, IMQA, Central Texas Longarm Quilters and FML Longarm Association.
