Baby Quilts Galore

I’ve been quiet about blogging the last few months because I was very busy with Christmas jobs and January started off with a bang as well. I’ve also been busy making baby quilts. Our family is having a major baby boom that started in August when my youngest sister became a grandma for the first time. Her daughter and son-in-law adopted a precious baby boy and we are all in love with him. Another niece had a baby in December and a great niece had a baby the first part of January. But that’s not the end of it. Another niece is due March 1 and my granddaughter is due May 10. So I will be a great-grandma! I have made quilts for all of them except my granddaughter. And all of the first four are boys. My granddaughter is going to wait until she has the baby to find out the sex of it, so I’ll be making a gender neutral quilt for her baby shower.  The baby on the left is my sister’s grandson. The picture on the right was made for my niece’s baby who lives in New York.  I got to go to New York for the baby shower to deliver it in person. Now I can’t wait to get back up there to see the baby. If you would like a special gift for a baby, contact me and I will be happy to make one for you.

Take a look at our Gallery to see examples of the T-Shirt Quilts as well as few of the many other quilts we have made.

I started making quilts as a child and have been quilting for others for over twenty years. Quilts that I have quilted have been featured in several quilting books and magazines.
