Retreat Fun

I just got back from a retreat at Quilter’s Cabin in Tomball a couple of weeks ago and even though there were only four of us, we accomplished a lot. We worked on some charity quilts as well as quilts for ourselves. I made the quilt on the left for my bedroom. Here are a few pictures. We don’t exactly fix our hair and dress up at retreat, but I think I managed to get pictures of everyone in regular clothes and not pajamas. This was our first retreat at the “Big House”. We have always retreated in the log house at Quilter’s Cabin in the past. However, the owner moved back into the log house, so we’re retreating at the house that was built specifically for retreats. It’s a beautiful house with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a nice work area that also has a bathroom. We’re already planning our next retreat there in August. If you haven’t been there, check out their website.

Take a look at our Gallery to see examples of the T-Shirt Quilts as well as few of the many other quilts we have made.

I started making quilts as a child and have been quilting for others for over twenty years. Quilts that I have quilted have been featured in several quilting books and magazines.
