As promised, here are the other two quilts that I entered in the West Houston Quilter’s Guild quilt show in March. One received a third place ribbon and the other received an honorable mention. These are two quilts that I just made because I liked the fabrics and the patterns and then decided to enter them in our semi-annual quilt show. The one on the left is made using a very easy “Stack and Whack” method and I really enjoyed making it. The other one was from a pattern that I saw one time in a book and I had bought the black print fabric several years ago because I loved it so much and I picked the other fabrics from the bolts I keep for t-shirt quilt customers.
